One of the most fundamental means to enhance poetry’s reader experience is through the pairing of stunning photographic images in a union of compelling and inspired perceptions that only the individual reader can fully embrace. I am honoured and excited to announce a new collaborative undertaking with gifted Atlanta, Georgia photographer Carolyn C. Meltzer.
Upon the discovery of Carolyn’s extraordinary gift for capturing breathtaking visuals of life and the remarkable beauty of nature and all their givings I truly felt compelled to approach this talented photographer in the hopes that she would grant permission for this writer to present her breathtaking images alongside my poetic verse to which Carolyn has most graciously accepted with enthusiasm!
“Carolyn C Meltzer; Stunning Visuals In Verse” goes live in this moment in a much anticipated series of this accomplished photographer’s photographic works in tandem presentation with my own writings born very much out of the very inspiration that Carolyn’s beautiful images invoke.
To my readers I implore that you visit the website of Carolyn C. Meltzer, linked beneath the accompanying photo, to explore and experience the beauty and wonderment of her subjects through an accomplished camera lens. Share in emotions and spirit of creative and artistic collaboration through visuals in verse.
Amidst the beauty of dawn’s subtleties
An earthen footpath, silent forest green
Quivering delicate splendor beckons
Layered, its silken petals would shimmer
Whimsical fancy of nature’s passion
Solitary in its first light showing
In splendor of its singular bounty
Caressed by the whisper of season’s change
Colours iridescent, their neon glow
Emblazoned by sun’s incremental rise
Beacons of darkness as fireflies
In the blossom of morning’s early light
Dance upon winds as violet candles
Flickering markers of spring’s revival
A breath of its fragrance scintillating
Undertones of gemstone transparency
